Monday: Arrival & Welcome

  • Build Your Own Gift Bags: A canvas bag to use all week, a notebook, a pen, earplugs (for sharing rooms), an Antique Candle Co. candle (my favorites!), a beautiful mug, lip balm, a beautiful apron to protect your clothes during workshops, and a pair of cozy socks!

  • Gentle Craft Activity: Hands-on craft to break the ice and foster conversation. We will be decorating the journals you receive in your gift bags!

  • Home Tour: Explore the Hoffman residence, showcasing the spirit of hospitality.

  • Formal Dinner: Enjoy a curated meal to kick off the retreat.

Tuesday: Spiritual Formation & Connection

  • Breakfast: Catered breakfast to fuel the day.

  • Worship Session: Led by a dedicated worship leader to set a spiritual tone.

  • Spiritual Formation Bible Study: Led by Kristen, focusing on identity and faith.

  • Picnic Lunch: A relaxed meal to foster connection.

  • Tour of Joslyn Castle:

    • A private 90-minute tour of this historic estate, exploring its stunning architecture and rich history.

    • Opportunity for meaningful conversations and connection amidst beautiful surroundings.

  • Dinner Out: Optional group dinner in Omaha for further connection.

Wednesday: Exploration Day in Walnut, IA

  • Antiquing Adventure: Visit the charming town of Walnut, known as "Antique City," to explore various antique shops.

  • Lunch on Your Own: Freedom to choose dining options while exploring.

  • Evening Gathering: Backyard fire pit and show-and-tell, where attendees can share personal stories or items of significance.

Thursday: Reflection & Integration

  • Breakfast: Catered breakfast to start the final day.

  • Worship Session: A time for reflection and connection.

  • Spiritual Formation Bible Study: Focus on living with intention.

  • Lunch: Catered meal to enjoy together.

  • Q&A & Mastermind Session: An interactive space for sharing insights and seeking advice.

  • Closing Workshop: Crafting personal rhythms for hospitality and life.

  • Commissioning Prayer: A heartfelt send-off to empower attendees as they return home.
