An Afternoon at Joslyn Castle
On Thursday afternoon, we’ll travel together to visit one of Omaha’s most beautiful historic homes: Joslyn Castle.
Completed in 1903, this remarkable estate was built by newspaper publisher George A. Joslyn and his wife Sarah H. Joslyn. Designed in the grand Scottish Baronial style, the home stands as one of the architectural treasures of the Midwest.
Inside, the castle feels almost like stepping into another world. Hand-carved woodwork, sweeping staircases, stained glass windows, and richly detailed rooms tell the story of a different era. Every corner holds craftsmanship and beauty that has been carefully preserved for more than a century.
During our private 90-minute tour, we’ll wander through the home together while learning the fascinating history of the Joslyn family and the legacy they left in Omaha.
More than anything, it will be a moment to slow down and take in something beautiful together. To walk through a historic space, share conversations with new friends, and experience the kind of place that reminds us how meaningful homes and gathering places can be.
It’s a fitting stop for a retreat centered around hospitality, heritage, and the stories that shape the spaces we live in.
